Blue Springs Municipal Court

The Blue Springs Municipal Court is formally designated as Division 241 of the Circuit Court of Jackson County. The court is at 1100 SW Smith Street, Blue Springs, MO 64015, inside the Howard L. Brown Public Safety Building. Hours are Monday through Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The office is closed Fridays. Reach the court at (816) 228-0175 or email court@bluespringsgov.com.

All cases are initially set for a pro se docket, except domestic violence cases. If you hire an attorney, they need to file an Entry of Appearance at least 48 hours before the court date or it gets rejected. Plea recommendations go through the Prosecutor's office at (816) 622-4119 or (816) 220-4528. The court provides a "Notice of Rights" document that spells out your rights as a defendant in municipal court.

Cases created on or after June 1, 2022 must be searched on Case.net. That is the state's centralized court records portal. Older Blue Springs court docket entries are in the city's own system. If you cannot find your case online, call the court office.
